Qualified

Believe it or not; God has a unique plan for each individual that is born. God knew you since you were in your mother's womb. God is a God of intention and details. All of God's creations and actions have a purpose. For society, being qualified for a position requires standards based on what they believe has equipped you to achieve a task. Either on paper or in the first impression. They will also base these qualifications on stats and records. When it comes to God, you are qualified based on purpose. The criteria that equip you for the purpose God has planned for you cannot be measured by man. He equips you with the necessary knowledge, skills, and experience to fulfill that plan. Many times how he equips us does not seem like preparation at all.
Let us look at King David. When he was a Shepard boy caring for the sheep in the wild. David did not expect caring for sheep’s would help him gain the bravery to defeat a giant whom everyone feared. David probably believed the skills had gained was only for him to complete his job as a shepherd. Without knowing the great plans and purpose God had for him. Everyone around him could not believe that David was chosen based on his current position. But, God knew putting David in the position of a Shepard would equip him for his great plan for his life.
How David was qualified by God can be applied to our own lives. Each of us has unique gifts and talents giving to be used to serve God and others. The way God qualifies us is unconventional and cannot be predicted. Many people may have believed that a trained Soldier would have been more qualified to defeat a giant. Not knowing the skills needed to defeat the giant would be found in a Shepard boy. When we surrender our lives to God and seek His will, He will guide us and equip us for the tasks He has prepared for us in ways we cannot understand. Where you are currently in life is preparing you for your next step. Being qualified by God means that you are chosen for a specific purpose and that God will give you everything you need to achieve it. Do not take your current position lightly. You are being prepared!
It is important to remember that being qualified by God does not necessarily mean that we will be perfect or have all the answers. It also does not mean we will always feel confident in what we are doing. Moses doubted his abilities, and many other biblical figures struggled with their own weaknesses and shortcomings. But what set them apart was their willingness to trust in God and obey His will even when things seemed difficult or challenging.
So, if you are feeling uncertain about your abilities or the path that you are on, take heart. Being qualified by God means that God has or will give you everything you need to fulfill His plan for your life. Remember, being qualified by God does not mean we will be perfect, but it does mean that we can trust in God's faithfulness, promises and provision every step of the way.
Tell someone a moment in your life when God qualified you.
